Catering for children from about 20 months to 4 years old, English and Afrikaans.

 

The morning consists of  :

​​● Free play where the children play together using the toys inside and the equipment outside.

​● Playing together where social skills are learned, which is the most basic education a young child needs to learn.  This will help them in all aspects of life.

​​● Music and singing - the children always love age appropriate fun and active songs.

​● Listening to stories to instill a love for books and learning.

​● Learning basic education such as colours, shapes, animals, etc, following a theme for the day or week.

​● Creative activities and art (age appropriate) where the children can then take home something they have created themselves.  This includes drawing, colouring, painting, glueing, and making things generally based on a theme.

Being a small group, the children usually all play together no matter what age they are, and become firm friends.  Many lasting friendships have been formed starting with friends made in Happy Faces Playgroup.
